Introduction | Schindler’s List’ is a historical drama based on the events of the Holocaust- From 1939 to 1945. German businessman, Oskar Schindler, is an entrepreneur, who has just moved to Kraków, Poland, to start up his factory. Consequently, World War II had just begin, meaning; the Holocaust had as well. |
Positive | The movie taught me a great deal about the events of the Holocaust. Although it was extremely emotionally confronting, I felt as if Schindler's List was very educational and I’m grateful to know a lot more about this important part of history. Hopefully other people which watch it as well, agree to never again repeat these horrific events. |
Thoughtful | Throughout the movie, it accurately demonstrates the major inequality towards Jewish people. Schindler’s List shows the traumatizing, and vile conditions Jews had to live through in the Ghettos. This somewhat reminds me of the events happening in China today. People of Muslim religion are forced to go against their own religion, by for example; eating Pork and overall being treating unfairly- similar to the Holocaust. |
Helpful | I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone over the age of 13, as it shows some mature ideas and concepts. |
Question | A question which I am curious to know about Schindler's List is; how many Schindler Jews remained in Germany and Poland, after the war ended. |
